Retention Management Program Development, Implementation & Auditing

A retention management program is a key element in your organization’s compliance/risk management program and records management strategy.  The goal of a legally-defensible retention management program is to ensure that:

  • records are retained only as long as they support business operations or are required to meet legal and regulatory obligations;
  • records are accessible and retrievable when needed;
  • records in all media formats are managed consistently across the organization; and
  • records are disposed of in the normal course of business when their retention period ends.
